Entitled neighbor demands to park her car in new homeowner's driveway or else she'll call the police: 'We had her removed from our property'

In what world is this neighbor allowed to claim a parking spot from someone else's private driveway as their own?

This lady was somehow able to negotiate a deal with the previous owner of the house across the street, where she was given unlimited access to their driveway. It turns out that the former owner did not have a vehicle of their own, which made it an easy decision to give in to her ridiculously entitled demands. However, once that owner sold their home to this author, that previous arrangement was no longer on the table.

Unfortunately for the author, he had to learn about this prior arrangement after the fact. This, of course, meant that denying this woman what she felt entitled to was his responsibility. He needed to confront her repeatedly and inform her that she was going to have to find a solution that did not involve invading someone else's personal space. 

What's remarkable is that this is yet another example of someone being gifted a special benefit and then developing some messed up version of reality where this "perk" is now an entitlement. Keep scrolling below for the full story and for the best reactions from members of this online community.

  • Telling someone that they can't get what they want is not easy in general, but especially when you have to then see this person day in and day out for the foreseeable future. Upsetting neighbors can be inevitable when they behave like this audacious individual.

    Here's hoping that this lady figures something out that does not involve bothering a different neighbor. At a certain point, she has to learn that you can't manipulate more impressionable people forever. It's only a matter of time before that bad habit catches up with you!
